Our Missional Mandate

Connecting unique churches to transform communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ

Our Strategy

Encourage Pastors

Equip Leaders

Engage Communities

Our Goals

Authentic connection

We create opportunities for the care of our church pastors and staff. We provide opportunities for fellowship across church lines, creating space to build trust among fellow pastors.

Kingdom growth

We help to revitalize churches’ identity and fellowship. We assist in helping the expansion of the churches’ mission, presence, and impact in the community.

cultivate churches

We identify and engage new areas of need by planting new churches, strengthening existing churches, and providing resources to assist in transforming communities.

develop influencers

We help churches discover areas of need within their unique ministry by identifying champions within the church and directing resources to grow their influence.

Disaster Relief

The Harmony-Pittsburg Baptist Association is active in Disaster Relief all across the country. We deploy to locations whenever there is a need. The Disaster Relief Team from Harmony-Pittsburg has travelled as far west as Washington and as far east as Connecticut. Disaster Relief team members are volunteers and must complete “yellow cap” training before they are able to deploy.

Harmony-Pittsburg fields team in the areas of chainsaw work, fire and rescue, and heavy equipment. We partner with other associations who work in the areas of chaplaincy, shower and laundry teams, cooking teams, as well as flood and fire recovery ministries.
